We started working with Daria when our dog Addie was 3 months old, and now at 9 months, we truly feel like we have the dog of our dreams. We’ve done individual training, group classes, and board and train with her, and the progress has been amazing every step of the way. Daria is fantastic not only with dogs, but also with their humans. She is incredibly responsive and available when challenges come up. We could always text her and get quick, helpful answers. Her guidance was always personalized to Addie, never generic. Addie is a high-drive shepherd, and Daria’s approach was exactly what she needed. Daria helped us better understand dog psychology and build confidence as guardians by showing us how to refine our own handling skills at every meeting. Her training also translated into real life at home, not just during sessions. We noticed lasting progress week after week, and after every board and train, Addie came back having made major improvements. Addie absolutely loves Daria and is always eager to learn from her. Thanks to Daria’s knowledge, generosity, and hard work, Addie is now relaxed, obedient, happy, and such a joy to live with. We are so grateful and cannot recommend Daria highly enough. Daria has been wonderful with my rescue pup, Louie! When we first started, he was so reactive and pulled to the point of choking himself on walks, barked at any and all dogs, and got overwhelmed easily. Thanks to Daria’s 1:1 sessions, the helpful resources she shares, and the group classes, Louie is becoming a much more confident, social, and happy dog. When I contacted Daria I had an overreactive dog who would not listen to any  commands, pull hard on the leash, constantly bark and whine while walking. It got to a point that I had to walk my dog  Fry in the early  hours of the morning and later at night in order to avoid other dogs, squirrels etc. In the first session, Daria was able to assess the situation and show me how to keep Fry calm while on a walk. She also assessed my home and provided tips to keep him disciplined and not think that he has the run of the house. After our third session Fry has show dramatic improvement so that he's able to walk with a loose leash while avoiding many distractions. He is definitely trending in the right direction. One of my neighbours also noticed the change in his behavior and was surprised how different he is now, compared to a few months ago. She couldn't believe how much calmer and relaxed he now is, and is considering contacting her as well. I wholeheartedly recommend Daria. My dog Winnie and I had a great training session with Daria and learned a lot. She sent studies, videos and additional material to assist me in continuing training Winnie after our session. In just a few days, Winnie was already doing the commands taught during our meeting. Daria is extremely thorough and knowledgeable and responds to questions promptly. The real dog whisperer! It’s amazing to see how my so called disobedient dog Maggie, turned into the cutest listener and calm follower seconds after Daria speaks to her! It brought tears to my eyes when she showed me what I can change in order for Maggie to listen to me. And with little bit of practice - it works as a charm! Daria was a godsend! My Great Dane Frida had been trained early with strictly positive methods but as she reached adulthood, was becoming less inclined to obey and also, had developed some anxiety on walks, and reactivity to other dogs. No fun with an animal as big and strong as she is! So far, we spent a total of only four hours with Daria over a period of a couple of months, and Frida has simply blossomed! She is much more attentive and obedient - including a great recall - and walks with confidence, close to me, very rarely reacting (weakly) to other dogs. She has learned new, good behaviours I had never taught her before, such as how to greet people calmly at the door, and even to stay in her place when guests are eating cheese at the coffee table! I have learned to be a much better dog parent, and Frida clearly knows it and appreciates it. The only "punishment" I have ever meted out is a cross, verbal reprimand, to which Frida responds by sitting and staring into my eyes, begging forgiveness (which she gets very quickly, of course :-). Daria definitely understands dog behaviour at another level than my previous (excellent) dog trainer, who helped me during Frida's puppyhood.
