Initial Consultation

The initial consultation is $250 + tax and lasts 2–3 hours. The consultation takes place at your home and in your neighbourhood so I can assess behaviour within your dog’s everyday environment. I’ll conduct a comprehensive behaviour assessment and develop a customized training plan tailored to you and your dog. We’ll discuss health, routine, biological fulfillment, relationship, clear communication, and equipment, and how these form the foundation for achieving your behavioural goals. We’ll also begin practical, hands-on training exercises so you have clear next steps and a structured path forward.

Consultations often begin with a walk so I can observe your dog in a more natural, real-world context. For dogs who are highly reactive or uncomfortable with strangers, we may instead meet in a quieter location, such as a nature trail or empty area, and begin there.

You’ll receive a consultation packet that includes your training plan outline, relevant background information, and structured homework to support your progress. Consultations for two-dog households, where both dogs require training, are $325 + tax and run approximately 2.5–3.5 hours. A non-refundable $75 deposit is required to secure your booking.
